Heat Dance Competition and events was founded in 2022, with one clear aim to create performance events for performers to develop learn and grow. With a clear emphasis on production and safety and an experienced event organising team, we are looking forward to bringing the HEAT to all our future events.

 

What sets Heat apart is our unwavering commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment. We welcome dancers of all ages, backgrounds and levels of expertise to join us in celebrating the universal language of dance. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned performer, our competitions and events provide an opportunity for growth, learning, and personal development.

(Please note- sections may be grouped at the discretion of the event organisers)

Sections:

All sections may be split into divisions of Novice and Open.

Novice Division= For the beginner dancers with little or no experience, very new to competitions.

Open Division= For the performers with experience in competitions.

Awards and Marking

The overall performance of the dancers. which includes facial expressions, Energy on the stage, the connection with other performers on the stage, your connection with the judges & the audience & your ability to connect with the music and story line. Placings and marks awarded are up to the discretion of the Adjudicator on the day of the event.

All members of the HEAT team are fully DBS checked and have up to date chaperone licences. They work closely with Megan, Isabelle and Hannah throughout our events to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and everyone is safe and happy.

Megan Lowe

Megan Lowe

Megan has a BA Honours Degree in Dance and Musical Theatre from Performers College Essex and also has a Level 4 Dance Teaching Qualification. Megan is a licensed first aider and chaperone.

Issy Lowe

Isabelle Lowe

Isabelle is currently studying for her BA Honours Degree in Dance and Musical Theatre at Wilkes Academy and has an Assistant Level Teaching Qualification. Isabelle is also a licensed chaperone.

Hannah

Hannah Price

Hannah is currently studying for her BA Honours Degree in Dance and Musical Theatre at Italia Conti and has an Assistant Level Teaching Qualification. Hannah is also a licensed chaperone.
